Certificates Handed Over to Second Generation of Personal Data Protection Managers

Today, on the premises of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, the Dean of the Faculty of Security of the University of Belgrade handed over certificates to the second generation of personal data protection managers.
The participants completed a short program of studies called "Training for personal data protection managers " in the form of professional training and education of persons responsible for personal data protection. This study program was carried out via cooperation of the Faculty of Security University of Belgrade, and the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
Also, prominent lecturers from the Commissioner's Office participated in the program.

"The development of new technologies, but also the pandemic caused by the coronavirus, have increased the supply and demand of various goods and services in the digital sphere. There are many advantages of online business, but such an environment, along with a lack of knowledge, also brings various risks. The Commissioner is working intensively to raise the awareness of both citizens and data controllers - various institutions and economic entities.
Commissioner Milan Marinović and Deputy Commissioner Sanja Unković are participating in the work of the 30th Conference of European Data Protection Authorities, which is held on 19 and 20 May in Cavtat, Republic of Croatia.
