Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection Presentation Held at Fair of Student Professional Practice in Public Administration

On November 9, for the second time, the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government organized the Fair of Student Professional Practice in Public Administration, where various public authorities had the opportunity to present their work to interested students on the virtual platform of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
The Commissioner's organization, competencies, and activities were presented to the students by Marko Milošević, head of the Education Department, stressing that the Commissioner's Office is one of the pioneers of such activities because it has been introducing students to its work since 2015.
In the 2022/23 school year, we are open to accepting new groups of interns from the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade. On the existing platform, interested students can also get acquainted with the presentation of the work of the Commissioner's Office.

On November 9, 2022, representatives of the Commissioner's Office held in Niš the last planned round table in 2022 on the topic of the right to access information of public importance and the right to personal data protection. Previous round tables were held in Bujanovac and Novi Pazar.
On November 8, the Commissioner's Office organized an online training in the field of free access to information of public importance, at the request of all interested Information Officers, of which 20 were present. The aim of the training was to familiarize its attendees with the amendments to the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance, whereon the attendees could present problems from the application of the law in practice. Special attention was paid to misdemeanor liability.
