Training Held for Students of Faculty of Media and Communications

slika Today, training was held for students of the Faculty of Media and Communications at the Commissioner's Office. Commissioner Milan Marinović, Deputy Commissioner Sanja Unković, and employees of the Commissioner's Office from the Sector for Education and Certification acquainted the students and their professor Ljubica Gojgić with the authority of the Commissioner and the importance of the rights which are being protected, and the ways of their protection.

Training Held for Representatives of Public Prosecutor's Offices from Territory of Vojvodina

Accredited lecturers from the Office of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, Aleksandra Lakićević, Marina Grbić, Marin Cetinić, and Marko Milošević, held today a one-day training in Novi Sad, from the field of application of the Law on Personal Data Protection to representatives of the Appellate Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad and representatives of Public Prosecutor's Offices from Novi Sad, Sremska Mitrovica, Loznica, Šabac, Ruma, Stara Pazova, Kikinda, and Zrenjanin.

This is the second thematic training held for representatives of competent authorities who process data for special purposes.

Commissioner's Meeting with CE Commissioner for Human Rights

Sastana sa Komesarkom za ljudska prava 002 Commissioner Milan Marinović, Deputy Commissioner Sanja Unković, Head of the Sector for International Relations, Domestic Cooperation and Projects Gordana Mohorović, and acting Chief of Cabinet of the Commissioner Dragoslav Đukić met today with Mrs. Dunja Mijatović, Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights and her associates.

The meeting discussed the state of human rights under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner and the possibilities for improving their realization and protection in the Republic of Serbia.

Мeeting Held with Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government

Commissioner Milan Marinović met today with the Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Dr. Aleksandar Martinović. They discussed the application of the amended Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance and ways to solve the problems observed in the application of that law.
