In your estimated paper, in section "Business", 3. of March, it's been published under a title "When it's hard: Loncar", an interesting text of miss Ruza Cirkovic, which is the reason why I am writing to you.

Even though I am basically apt to the dispute, I unwillingly react on the texts of journalists. I think actually, that the dispute with media representatives, it's not easy to bring the whole harmony with my function, in other words, my duty to protect their rights. In concrete case, to justify that my not responding, was saying also that I mostly agreed to the attitude of miss Cirkovic in the text. Although, being mentioned a few times in the text, I think it has sense to use that as a cause to show some facts, relevant for the topic of the text.

Rodoljub Sabic, Commissioner for information

Requests of public for the access to the information of the public provision, that are brought based on the Law about the free access to the information, almost as a rule have been faced with the resistance. Of course that is, indicative and disturbing, but at the same time "logical", if it's known that these information have been withheld, literally in dramatic proportions, even in the frame of state, inside control measures.

The rostrum about international standards of the access to the information of public importance Belgrade - Commissioner for the information of public importance, Rodoljub Sabic , stated yesterday, at the rostrum in Media center about international standards of the access to the information, that they should, by the end of the March, submit to the Serbian Parliament a yearly report of the work, with the recommendations which should contribute to the improvement about the enforcement of the Law of free access to the information.

Between us

Hiding the information of public importance unfortunately is usual practice in our society and institutions. Mr. Sabic is totally right when he says that people are prevented, in all ways, to get the requested information, even if that right has been guaranteed by the constitution. I will explain that by my example. The Institution for the monument protection Pancevo let investor to ruin stares leading to my apartment and walled the entering to the apartment, because of making the business space. Although the building is cultural monument of grate importance, ruining the cultural monument was permitted, and the only thing they let for me is to grow up the wings so that I can fly to my apartment on the first floor. There's no need to mention that the making such illegal and absurd solution was hidden from me, like interested party in the procedure and other dwellers.
