It is good the new Assembly of Serbia has MPs from national minority parties which have, earned their seats by participating on the elections by themselves. It is also good that some other national minority parties went in with on lists of other parties, as well as that some “majority” parties have MPs that are from the ranks of national minorities.

NT researches who are the masters of Serbian information.

Official information is often misinforming the citizens, for they are issued by unqualified officials. Rodoljub Sabic, Commissioner for Information of Public Importance, says:

Key positions are occupied by people lacking knowledge and experience. In some cabinets they don't even use the Internet. Is information in Serbia today really free and accessible, does one come to obtain them in a simple and clear procedure? Who is creating it, who dictates it and who's putting it in the public arena? Information and PR departments, media offices have, at first glance, become a matter of societal and political prestige of official institutions such as ministries, cabinets, courts, municipalities… and not just them. Sports clubs, companies, NGOs, agencies - almost everyone has hired people who should, allegedly, provide and assist easier and faster access to information.

Belgrade - The Commissioner for Information of Public Importance Rodoljub Sabic said that the reports of political parties about the funding of the election campaign were documents which should be accessible to the public, regardless of the results of the audit of their content.

Sabic to Forward the Danas Complaint to RIK
Belgrade - Rodoljub Sabic, Commissioner for Information of Public Importance, announced today that, accordingly to the procedure prescribed by Law, he would forward the complaint of Danas daily newspaper to the Republic Election Commission (RIK) and give it a deadline to state its position regarding the allegations in the complaint; it is only after RIK voices its position that Sabic would make his decision. “What that decision will be, I can't tell you for reasons of principle, while the formal procedure is not ended. This can, however, be conjectured from my public statements,” Sabic told Danas. The Danas newsdesk has requested RIK to submit it reports of the parties about funds spent during the election campaign. Although the legal timeframe of 15 days for replying has elapsed, RIK is yet to do it. Miodrag Petrovic, spokesman of RIK, said that they would not do it in the next 90 days, until RIK “performs the verification of the reports.”

Rodoljub Sabic Commissioner for Information

British public is these days shook by the information from one investigation.  The topic of  investigation is collection of funds for financing previous electoral campaign.  The investigation didn't circumvent the highest officials, and judging by everything it shall confirm the doubts regarding existence of secret funds, that is, funds from otherwise prohibited anonymous donations.
