Is it permitted to post a list of residents in the doorway of an apartment building, with the names and surnames of homeowners, apartment numbers and names and surnames of household members?

ПAccording to the Law on Personal Data Protection, a legal basis for personal data processing can be either legal authorization for data processing or freely given consent by a person whose data are being processed (Article 8, item 1). In the current state of affairs, Serbian laws do not allow for posting of lists of residents in apartment buildings. Similarly, there are no provisions that would allow for collecting and posting of residents' personal data.

Therefore, such data can be collected and processed only with the written consent of each individual resident of an apartment building.
