The Commissioner for information of public importance, in his letter addressed to all state authorities, authorities of territorial autonomy and local administration authorities, has reminded certain obligations of government authorities to promote the public functions.

It was especially mentioned the obligation to submit annual reports to the Fiduciary Agent about operations undertaken in order to apply the Law of free access to information of public importance and the obligation to make and release the Informator bulletin about the results of authorities' operations. The obligation to submit annual reports to the Commissioner about operations undertaken in order to apply the Law of free access to information of public importance and the obligation to make and release the Informator bulletin about the results of authorities' operations are explicitly foreseen in articles 43 and 39 of the Law of free access to information of public importance. The annual reports have to be delivered to the Commissioner until 20 of January 2006, for they represent the base for the annual report that the Commissioner has to submit to the National Assembly of Republic of Serbia by the end of march next year.
