Commissioner for Information, Mr. Rodoljub Sabic has today  in Loznica participated in the work of public platform  organized within the Project  "From Law to Truth", jointly implemented by the  Commissioner for Information and CESID.        

Public platform in  Loznica, where several representatives of local government, public companies, nongovernmental organizations and citizens have participated, is the last of  15 similar ones which have been held within the Project  "From Law to Truth" held in  Zajecar, Zrenjanin, Nis, Belgrade and  Loznica.

The Project had, besides  monitoring of the implementation of the Law on Free Access to Information of  Public Importance, still two goals. Influencing citizens to maximally use the rights offered by the law as efficient means for controlling power and fight against corruption, as well as  influencing the government representatives to act responsibly in relation to legal obligations.

The Project, the implementation of which lasted several months, based on the Commissioner's evaluation has resulted in useful results, so the cooperation with  CESID regarding implementation of the similar projects will continue.
