Today, the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection signed an Agreement on Cooperation in Providing Public Administration Support to Higher Education Institutions in the Education Process, in order to conduct professional practice for students of five state universities - in Belgrade, Kragujevac, Nis, Novi Sad and Novi Market.

This agreement, apart from the Commissioner, was signed by 17 other state bodies. This is the first time that state administration bodies and faculties have established a systematic approach in improving theoretical knowledge and practical work in state bodies. Professional practice (or internship) will be realized during the academic year 2021-2022, in the period from November 2021 to May 2022.

The Commissioner’s Office has so far been recognized as an institution in which students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade, for seven years in a row, perform professional practice. On that occasion, students get acquainted with the work of the Commissioner, his competencies, regulations and practice in the areas of free access to information of public importance and protection of personal data.

This Agreement also announces the first Student Fair for professional practice in public administration, which will be held on November 4 and 5, 2021, in the form of an online platform through which students would, with just one click, express interest in a certain state administration body where they would like to do their internship (professional practice) in.
