The Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, Milan Marinović, visited the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina today.

The Commissioner met with the Secretary General of the Assembly of AP Vojvodina, Nikola Banjac, and the Assistant Secretary General of the Assembly of AP Vojvodina, Dragutin Galović.

The topic of discussion was the upcoming amendments to the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance. Special emphasis in the conversation was placed on the proposal to amend the Law to enable the formation of organizational units of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection оutside the Headquarters in Belgrade, of which one such organizational unit would be established in Novi Sad.

In a cordial and open conversation, the interlocutors agreed that the initiative on the formation of organizational units of the Commissioner outside Belgrade is good and useful, and it was stated that discussions on this topic will continue in the future.
