In honour of the 28th of January, the Data Protection Day, the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection held a press conference in which he presented the results achieved and the main challenges in the field of personal data protection in Serbia.

Apart from Commissioner Rodoljub Sabic, speakers at the conference included HE Arne Sannes Bjørnstad, Norway's Ambassador to Serbia, Mr. Luca Bianconi, head of the Political Section of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Serbia and Mr. Marinko Radić, Secretary General at the Commissioner's Office. Ms Alenka Jerše, the Deputy Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, was also planned to be one of the speakers at the conference, however, due to the problems in air traffic she was unable to attend.
