- Case Statistics
In January 2019, the Commissioner’s Office received a total of 997 cases, including:
- 633 cases in connection with freedom of information,
- 311 cases in connection with personal data protection,
- 53 cases relating to both spheres of competence and operations of the Commissioner’s Office.
A total of 3340 pending cases were carried forward from the previous period (2.869 – freedom of information, 440 – data protection, 31 – other cases).
A total of 1018 cases were resolved during this month (549 - freedom of information, 414 – data protection, 55 – harmonisation of the law and regulations)
There are 3.319 cases pending (2953 – freedom of information, 337 – data protection and 29 - harmonisation of the law and regulations)
According to the available call records, 2271 contacts with citizens and public authorities were made to provide advice on the exercise of freedom of information and with citizens and personal data controllers for consultations in connection with implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection and cases handled.
