Case Statistics
In February 2018, the Commissioner’s Office received a total of 1.158 cases, including:
398 cases in connection with freedom of information, 657 cases in connection with personal data protection, 103 cases relating to both spheres of competence and operations of the Commissioner’s Office.
A total of 4.409 pending cases were carried forward from the previous period (3.743 – freedom of information, 618 – data protection, 48 – other cases).
A total of 943 cases were resolved during this month (354 - freedom of information, 507 – data protection, 82 – harmonisation of the law and regulations)
There are 4.624 cases pending (3787 – freedom of information, 768 – data protection and 69 - harmonisation of the law and regulations)
According to the available call records, 1.404 contacts with citizens and public authorities were made to provide advice on the exercise of freedom of information and with citizens and personal data controllers for consultations in connection with implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection and cases handled.
