and Personal Data Protection in February 2026
I. Case Statistics
In February 2026, the Commissioner’s Office received a total of 2053 cases, including:
• 1185 cases in connection with access to information,
• 668 cases in connection with personal data protection,
• 60 cases relating to misdemeanor proceedings,
• 140 cases relating to both areas of work and actions of the Commissioner’s Office.
A total of 2739 cases were resolved during this month (1342 - access to information, 1254 – data protection, 36 - misdemeanor proceedings, 107 – harmonisation and cooperation in both areas of Commissioner's actions).
