of Activities of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance
and Personal Data Protection in March 2025;
I. Case Statistics
In March 2025, the Commissioner’s Office received a total of 2544 cases, including:
- 1868 cases in connection with access to information,
- 196 cases in connection with personal data protection,
- 81 cases relating to misdemeanor proceedings,
- 399 cases relating to both areas of work and actions of the Commissioner’s Office.
A total of 3375 cases were resolved during this month (1612 - access to information, 1256 – data protection, 94 - misdemeanor proceedings, 413 – harmonisation and cooperation in both areas of Commissioner's actions).
According to the available call records, a total of 2540 contacts with citizens and public authorities were made to provide advice on the exercise of the right to free access to information and with citizens and personal data controllers for consultations in connection with implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection and cases handled.
