and Personal Data Protection in December 2024;
I. Case Statistics
In December 2024, the Commissioner’s Office received a total of 2474 cases, including:
- 2116 cases in connection with access to information,
- 129 cases in connection with personal data protection,
- 113 cases relating to misdemeanor proceedings,
- 116 cases relating to both areas of work and actions of the Commissioner’s Office.
A total of 2396 cases were resolved during this month (1771 - access to information, 330 – data protection, 126 - misdemeanor proceedings, 169 – harmonisation and cooperation in both areas of Commissioner's actions).
According to the available call records, a total of 1656 contacts with citizens and public authorities were made to provide advice on the exercise of the right to free access to information and with citizens and personal data controllers for consultations in connection with implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection and cases handled.
