- Case Statistics
In October 2018, the Commissioner’s Office received a total of 1057 cases, including:
- 444 cases in connection with freedom of information,
- 475 cases in connection with personal data protection,
- 138 cases relating to both spheres of competence and operations of the Commissioner’s Office.
A total of 3.847 pending cases were carried forward from the previous period (3.223 – freedom of information, 583 – data protection, 41 – other cases).
A total of 1365 cases were resolved during this month (612 - freedom of information, 630 – data protection, 123 – harmonisation of the law and regulations)
There are 3.539 cases pending (3055 – freedom of information, 428 – data protection and 56 - harmonisation of the law and regulations)
According to the available call records, 3252 contacts with citizens and public authorities were made to provide advice on the exercise of freedom of information and with citizens and personal data controllers for consultations in connection with implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection and cases handled.
