Activities of the Office of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection in May 2026:

I Case statistics

In May 2026, the Office of the Commissioner received a total of 1.708 cases, namely:

• 339 cases related to access to information,
• 511 cases related to personal data protection,
• 137 cases related to the misdemeanor proceedings in both fields of the Commissioner’s competencies,
• 215 cases related to both fields of competency and the work of the Commissioner’s Office.

This month, the total number of resolved cases is 1.887 (1.233 — access to information, 377 — data protection, 78 — misdemeanor proceedings, 199 — harmonization, cooperation, education, certification, and reporting in both areas of the Commissioner’s competencies).
