and Personal Data Protection in January 2026;
I. Case Statistics
In January 2026, the Commissioner’s Office received a total of 2665 cases, including:
- 914 cases in connection with access to information,
- 1609 cases in connection with personal data protection,
- 22 cases relating to misdemeanor proceedings,
- 120 cases relating to both areas of work and actions of the Commissioner’s Office.
A total of 1227 cases were resolved during this month (749 - access to information, 351 – data protection, 51 - misdemeanor proceedings, 76 – harmonisation and cooperation in both areas of Commissioner's actions).
